However, instead of battling for the podium, the low grip level of his second set of tires cost the Brit dearly. Hence, the local hero only placed eighth in the end.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLuicano was very strong today. He was one of the fastest guys out on the track and battling for the podium. Unfortunately, after his stop, he could not get enough temperature into his tires, which meant a massive drop in grip\u201d<\/em>, team boss Michael Zele analysed.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow-teammate Kiss, third on the previous day, had too much wheel-spin at the start loosing five spots. Charging hard, like Bacheta, the Hungarian managed to regain ground, but it was too little too late.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTamas had a bad start and although he was very quick, dirty air behind his opponents made overtaking merely impossible\u201d<\/em>, Zele added.<\/p>\n<p>In the overall standings, Bacheta is on 49 points, while Kiss has 37.
