New Zele-signing Kiss impresses at Silverstone

In his maiden weekend with Zele Racing, Hungary’s Tamas Pal Kiss qualified an excellent fourth on Friday for the AutoGP World Series races in Silverstone.

Kiss, who gave his debut in the series with MLR71 Racing at his home event in Budapest at the beginning of May, quickly got him acquainted with the car and the new working environment at the Austrian outfit, very much to the delight of team boss Michael Zele.

“Tamas made a great job today. He immediately clicked with our team and his mechanics, and could even have been further up the grid, but his exhaust pipe broke in his first stint.”

Local hero Luciano Bacheta experienced an entirely different qualifying and only placed 13th.

“Luchy’s car was very nervous on the track, so we have to analyse what the problem was. I am sure, we will sort it out until tomorrow”, Zele added.
