While running on P4 in the BOSS GP Super Prix at the famous TT Circuit Assen, Christof suffered a sudden loss of drive due to an exploding clutchbasket, which ended his very strong race performance.

„The car was amazing in the race, we found a perfect balance and it actually felt even better than in qualifying. Unfortunately, I lost drive and had to retire the car. We will try to push hard again tomorrow. Starting from the back will be loads of fun,“ the Swiss said.

On Sunday, the 25-year-old proved to be fighter, starting from the back of the grid. He stormed through the field from P22 to P5! After the Safety Car phase, he was a bit too ambitious and received a 10 second penalty for too early overtaking.

Zele was even more delighted as two customer cars finished on the podium: Peter Milavec finished runner-up in the OPEN Class category, ahead of Hans Laub.
